A number of fruit trees, including apple, pear and cherry, were also planted. In a few years, local residents will be able to forage for nuts and fruit in the area.<\/p><p>In addition, host plants for butterflies have been planted as a natural screen towards the main road. This will support the meadow as a breeding habitat for butterflies and benefit the ecosystem of the area.<\/p><p>After a few years, we expect to have a beautiful, sustainable oasis where people and butterflies can thrive side by side!<\/p><p>On 13 October 2025, there was a festive official opening, where the museum celebrated the establishment of the foraging garden, the placement of sculptures in the area and the habitat for wild nature.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gudhjem Foraging Garden The latest addition to Gudhjem Museum Park is the establishment of a foraging garden, which was officially opened in October 2025.
